I am not good with confusion – everyone who knows me, knows that it doesn’t take much to throw me off kilter nowadays. I used to be able to go with the flow and adopt a sense of can do and adventure when the unexpected dollops of poo hit the fan.
When I saw this picture shared on someone’s FB page this week, I felt my blood pressure immediately drop and almost envy as I wanted to step into the frame and “be her”.
I am a person who likes to wake up to an ordered, planned day, I need this sense of purpose to anchor me, provide me with a horizon line to focus on and move forward.
I am also not good with pointless conversations – I would rather be doing something productive and I can’t “do” and “talk” – the exception of course is if I am knitting or spinning. Then I am a “multi-tasker extraordinaire”
I have had a rant on the other channel – DyeVerse – if you are vaguely interested – please don’t feel obligated. It was posted to make me feel better and less of a victim, rather than to entertain or amuse crafting buddies.
So what have I been up to this week, when not diverted by others’ agendas?
I have finished the Fairy Wishing Shawlette for the big sister, and am now knitting the baby version for her little sister. The photos really don’t do this justice – the wool is stunning and available in many different colours – some of the ladies at Beshley’s Wool shop tried it on, and they looked stunning in the prototype. I am mightily proud of my achievements here.
Tob’s is happy – here he is painting some glass candle holders – another new creative project !
