Dual Aspect– each beautiful but totally different

Yesterday we came back to stay – whilst we are in Devon – at the farmhouse we sought sanctuary in last winter whilst we were waiting for the news of how we were going to live the rest of our life.

I have had the rant over at DyeVerse if you want to read the ramblings of my mind.. So enough already…

Life is about living it, not just existing, so we have taken steps to do just that…

In the cottage we stay in, we have two windows in the bedroom.  One has the most amazing view over the valley (which I will dig out for another post), the other has an amazing view over….

Golden straw and sheep (slightly off to the right).

Both are equally beautiful but totally different.  This is how lives could be with some peace of mind and downtime..

In the meantime and whilst we are working on this – we have to have some space to breathe and time to…. play, create and just be gentle with each other…

Toby Felting

Last week Toby overcame his allergy to “wet water” (which we now find his father suffers from as well !!) and together we created these masterpieces in the new workshop we have at Uffculme Mill.

Finally, we have some space, a place to breathe and a chance to just be ourselves…We too are having to learn to live again with our son.. who is equally as beautiful a person as he was before the accident, but now totally different.

So DyeVerse@theMill will be somewhere you hear me talk about more and more over the next few weeks.  Our little workshop where we can explore and learn about our new selves, using crafts and our creative souls..without worrying about the impact of our equipment on others, and most importantly have the chance to repair and become whole people once more…in familiar surroundings..

Oh and of course.. like-minded souls always welcome…

Dual aspects – beautiful but different…
