North Somerset Arts Trail

096

I know, I know… people have always told me I would end up on the streets and this week I did – photo complete with spare tyre to prove it!

I was outside the Curzon Cinema in Clevedon, advertising the excellent exhibition being staged by the The Spinning Weal inside in the Oak room as part of the North Somerset Arts Trail

Staff, customers and pupils of the popular textile courses the shop runs, were invited to display and what a display that is…

The Felt making section caught B’s eye, not sure why – something to do with the subject matter no doubt – naked ladies in felt, or felt naked lady?

Whilst I was smitten by the patchwork, and … patchwork bags… here is one by The Sassy Spinner.  Needless to say I could not resist another bag, so ended up with one similar to this, but reversible – ideal for putting my spindling supplies in as it stands upright, I couldn’t resist a Falkland Island plait from the same source (naughty but nice !!!).

The exhibition is on until the end of the week, and I would highly recommend it to all…
