In Memorium

Last Night we were told of not one, but two tragic deaths which have recently occurred to friends of our family.  On a personal level we are shocked by the tragedies, but on a more general level – lamenting the loss of two amazing individuals, who have done nothing but enrich all of the lives of those who knew them, and made us feel happier and more enriched people just by knowing them.

Pauline Grubb  Bruce and Toby met Pauline through their Leatherwork course.  She was a warm and friendly person, whose creativity and talent was inspiring.   She is going to be so missed by all and our heart goes out to her family and close friends.

Allan Burnett  I first met Allan when I was in the same orchestra has him – we met again when Joshua and Toby joined the local Beaver’s group which was attached to the Blenheim Scouts unit.   Seem to remember he even got our youngest daughter to play the trumpet at an important occasion!  He was one of those people who “got things done” and his involvement and investment in time, effort and energy with the young people of South Bristol as a Governor of a local school and Leader will be irreplaceable.  Our thoughts are with his wife and young family.
